Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
Built: 1993-1995
Designed by: I. M. Pei
Type: Museum

From the back this building looks like a disjoined series of cubes hanging in the air. From the front, a huge glass atrium provides uniformity and centers the structure with the white cubes jutting out from the background. The large atrium area is actually just for ticketing, the exhibits are inside the white portions. Creative use of space makes this building seem much larger inside than outside. Photography is prohibited inside.
